CAN YOU SEE ME?

Before After questions one of society’s oldest obsessions: the endless pursuit of transformation. On Earth, people are constantly promised a better version of themselves—more beautiful, younger, richer, more desirable. On Badass Planet, this obsession becomes a spectacle, exposing the fragile line between self-improvement and self-rejection.
The overlapping faces, fragmented identities, and layered expressions create a visual conversation between who we are and who we believe we should become. Every alteration promises perfection, yet perfection always seems to remain one step further away. The result is a cycle of desire, illusion, and reinvention.
At its core, Before After is not about beauty—it is about identity. The artwork asks a simple but uncomfortable question: if you remove every filter, correction, enhancement, and expectation, who remains? Sometimes the most radical transformation is learning that you were enough before the “after” ever existed.
